Updating in four steps.
Download the OTA file for this model above, then follow these steps.
01AstroStation 2.8″ Enable OTA
On the 2.8-inch station, open INFO and tap SUPPORT. The maintenance window stays open for ten minutes.
02AstroStation 2.8″ Open support
On the same Wi-Fi network, open polaris-astrostation.local/support or use the IP address shown on INFO.
03AstroStation 2.8″ Upload the file
Choose only the supplied Polaris_AstroStation.ino.bin for the 2.8-inch model. Keep power connected and wait for the restart.
04AstroStation 2.8″ Check the version
The support page should now show 3.0 alpha 9.4.40.
Polaris XL · 7″ · OTA
Updating in four steps.
Download the OTA file for this model above, then follow these steps.
01Polaris XL · 7″ Enable updates
On Polaris XL, open INFO and tap UPDATES. Firmware uploads are enabled for five minutes.
02Polaris XL · 7″ Open the update page
On the same Wi-Fi network, open the /update address shown on INFO. Use the XL's own IP address.
03Polaris XL · 7″ Upload the XL file
Choose PolarisXL_WORKING.ino.bin for Polaris XL. The display goes black during flashing; leave power connected until the automatic restart.
04Polaris XL · 7″ Check the version
After the restart, check that INFO shows v0.15.0.66.
During the updateKeep power connected and leave the browser page open.
Use the application .bin for your model. Bootloader, partitions and merged files are not OTA update files.
